Welcome to Nasi Kandar Hamedi, a vibrant gem nestled in the heart of Bemban, Malacca. This newly opened restaurant specializes in traditional Malaysian nasi kandar, a delightful culinary concept that promises a feast for your senses. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the rich aromas of fragrant spices and simmering dishes that evoke a comforting and familiar atmosphere.

The menu at Nasi Kandar Hamedi is a celebration of classic Malaysian flavors. Indulge in their Nasi Lemak, a beloved dish that represents the epitome of Malaysian cuisine. The Nasi Lemak Ayam is particularly enticing, featuring aromatic coconut rice served with a perfectly fried egg, spicy sambal, crisp ikan bilis, and succulent fried chicken. For just MYR 11.25, it’s a portion that is both satisfying and rich in flavors. If you prefer something lighter, the Nasi Lemak Biasa at MYR 5.60 offers a delicious alternative, with its creamy coconut rice complemented by sambal and anchovies.

For those who lean towards noodles, the Gorengan Mamak section is irresistible. Try the Mee Goreng Ayam—spicy stir-fried noodles bursting with vibrant vegetables and tender chicken for MYR 14.00. Alternatively, the Bihun Goreng Ayam, featuring stir-fried rice noodles in a savory sauce, promises to warm your heart with every delightful bite.

To accompany your meal, refresh yourself with one of their signature beverages. The Air Hamedi offerings like the Kopi O Ais — a chilled coffee with a robust flavor at just MYR 3.10, or the exuberant Sunquick Orange for MYR 3.50 — are perfect to complement the meal's richness while quenching your thirst.

The dining atmosphere here is lively and filled with chatter, making it an ideal spot to gather with friends and family. Despite the occasional hustle and bustle, the staff is friendly and eager to serve, although some patrons have noted that the service can be a bit slow during peak times. Nevertheless, the patience shown by the staff enhances the welcoming ambiance of this place.

Food is ok as there were a limited option of mamak restaurants in town. Service was quite slow sometimes. QR pay was accepted here

The food ordered so far (nasi goreng pattaya, cheese naan, and maggi goreng) taste good, with affordable price. Their service is also quite fast. Take note that roti canai, tosai and naan are not available during the day.

Newly-opened nasi kandar restaurant. Nasi kandar tastes good and fulfilling. Service was a bit slow, and the cash register they have is still an old-school register. Maybe because the restaurant is relatively new, so some things are bound to have an upgrade later on. But the guy manning the register was really a patient guy. There was quite a crowd. Could be testing the new restaurant or they were just after-office eaters. We initially struggled to get a seat for ourselves, but then a staff came to rescue by setting up 2 medium-sized roundtables for the 3 of us, so that we could enjoy our early dinner. One more thing, nasi kandar we had was quite cheap.

Normal mamak (nasi kandar) shop. Quite crowded and noisy when I visited this restaurant. Food were okay, nice. Not bad. Just the atmosphere is very packed with many peoples. But if you want lepak with friends means no issue.
